Seems the election season has started with the much-ballyhooed entry of Aga Muhlach into the ruling Liberal Party.
With his charm and charisma, not to mention his popularity as one of the biggest stars in show business and among the most awarded,  Aga's name has definite recall, particularly in the Bicol province of Camarines Sur, where he intends to run for a Congressional seat in its fourth district.
His entry came with much fanfare as the LP made it a major press event, with reporters from both the political and entertainment beats taking notice of the latest turn in the rundown to the 2013 midterm elections.
During the press conference late last week, a bespectacled Aga came with his wife Charlene, supported by his bosom buddies Cesar Montano and Bayani Agbayani. The LP leadership, represented by Transportation and Communications Secretary Mar Roxas, swore him in as its official candidate.
